Classroom Closeup Films in Vineland!

Congratulations to V.E.A. Member Terry Kuhnreich and her ‘Search for Conscience’ students at Vineland High who were the subject of an Oct. 19 filming of NJTV’s  Classroom Closeup program.  Terry and her students teleconferenced with one of the few remaining prosecutors of the Nuremberg Trials.  Nazi war criminals were put on trial and prosecuted  in Nuremberg for their crimes against humanity.  The course has become one of the most popular electives at VHS because Terry challenges students to confront and debate the nature of mankind and the improvement of society.  Her classes have also created and provided anti-bullying programs at our elementary schools and community outreach programs with the police department and Beth Israel synagogue.  See photos of the class and filming from NJEA’s on Flickr.

The show will air on March 4.  Tune in!

  1. bravo Terry and crew!!!

  2. What a great experience for everyone involved. VHS offers students so much that may not be offered by smaller schoools. I have a real heart for these students.

  3. A valuable class to keep students aware. Great job. I’ll set my DVR to March 4th.
